Charlie's Steakhouse Charlie's Steakhouse has been an institution since 1971. It is probably the only place within 100 miles that has fairly decent food. Everything is home-made and a popular place for singles to congregate to. Moderator: Mayor J. I. Hartford |

Golden Creek Park The only park in the Falls area, other than the national forests. It is a fairly large park, thick with trees and underbrush, as it covers nearly 50 acres of land. Golden Creek is more like a river than an actual creek itself. The falls that inspired the people to live there lie just due east of the park. It's a great place to hike and camp. Valley Trail Neighborhood. Everyone who lives in Desolation Falls, resides in this neighborhood. All houses are set on 2 acre plots. There is only one road to the homes, yet it y's out at least three times to allow space for the houses to spread out. Moderator: Mayor J. I. Hartford |

The Old Gold Mills Though abandoned, the old gold mines and mills still stand today. The mountain in which it stands still looks bare, yet turns green in the spring after the first big thaw. No one dares to enter who wants to live. Moderator: Mayor J. I. Hartford |
